Posted: October 29, 2010 in Uncategorized

We’ve got new NIXON accessories here at Sideways. Bags, wallets, hats, purses, backpacks, and more. Three of my favorite being the Garrison Duffel Bag, Platform Backpack, and Cushing Vertical Bag all in the Herringbone colorway. These pieces will never go out of style. Of course, this weekend all of these pieces are TAX OFF along with all other accessories.

Yup, ol’ Frankie up there suggested we have a sale to celebrate Halloween! Who are we to argue ? So this Friday and Saturday all regular priced clothing, outerwear, footwear, accessories, Nixon watches, and 2011 Von Zipper goggles will be TAX OFF! Previous seasons outerwear will be 40-70% OFF as well as selected clothing from 2010! Last seasons VZ goggles and shades are 25% OFF.

We’ve got a ton of new Volcom outerwear, clothing, and accessories for girls and guys, new DVS and Lakai hoods and tees, Nixon accessories and clothing for girls and guys and more. Way too much to type. Get the Christmas shopping started early.

Check the blog and Facebook for more specials too!

And if you’re in costume, there might be a treat in it for ya!

Cassel is no stranger to the Western Newfoundland skate scene. He’s been holding down for the P-dot for a long time now. Driving Peterbilt’s full-time, Adam is still in the streets holding his title as one of the best to come out of our region.
That bank is waaaaaaay steeper than it looks. Give it a try if you’ve got it in ya. Tight edit Dru.
“The second in a series of Skateboarding Videos featuring local skateboarders, filmed in Corner Brook to raise awareness that a new skateboard park is needed. Sideways Boardshop and J.Osmond Design partnered up to bring a series of ads and videos featuring local skaters showing their support for the cause. Adam Cassel throwing down on a steep bank. Filmed and edited by Dru Kennedy.”

Remember to vote for the Corner Brook Needs A New Skatepark in the Aviva Community Fund, right here. Only takes a few minutes and it’s for a great cause.

Let It Snow! The Volcom Snow 2010-2011 site is now live featuring the full line of outerwear, softgoods, and accessories for men, women, and kids.

The Newton in Black/Grey by Nixon

A fresh take on an analog watch, The Newton replaces traditional hands with rotating discs for a modern look. Flat black strap gives it a cool look. LED light makes it functional. Spacey looking in a awesome way, not a geeky way.

More Info:

MOVEMENT: 2 Hand quartz with LED light and rotating disc display
CASE: Custom 30 meter molded polycarbonate with hardened mineral crystal
BAND: One piece custom injected silicone with patented locking looper and polycarbonate buckle
One of the many amazing Nixon watches in our case right now. A great selection in both the mens and women’s case for those on the nice list.
